Tips and suggestions

While San Francisco is home to thousands of hotels, none are located near Stern Grove, our wedding reception. For this reason, we've decided to forego the typical hotel room block scenario so you can find the lodging options that best suit your needs and budget.

We highly recommend booking a vacation rental to make your stay more comfortable and affordable. However, if you're looking forward to staying in the hustle and bustle of the city, we have a few options for you.

Airbnb

Great options if you're with a large group. They provide discounts if you're staying for one week or more. Some neighborhoods we recommend are Noe Valley, Mission, Bernal Heights. If downtown is more your thing, we recommend the Hayes Valley and Lower Haight neighborhoods. If you want to be close by good Asian food, we recommend the Sunset and Richmond but these two neighborhoods are a bit out of the way.

Expedia

You can look for best value hotels at the time of booking here. Be sure to double check that the hotel is in San Francisco. If you stay outside of San Francisco, it might be complicated to get to our wedding venues, especially if you do not drive.
